We use a cashless system called Parent Pay. Students who are entitled to a free school meal will have their accounts automatically credited with money. Parent Pay is an excellent tool which allows you to see what your child has eaten during the day and to top up their account if they need extra money. Please see the links below as a guide of how to set up and use the Parent Pay app.

Our transition team work closely with our primary schools to gather as much information as possible prior to your child starting in September to ensure we are able to meet your childs needs. We have a fantastic inclusion team who will be in contact if your child has been identified as having additional needs. If this happens, school will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the problem. Due to this, it is vital we have the correct emergency contact details and that you inform the school if any of these details change.

Talk to your child and if you are worried please contact the school. We take this issue very seriously and will be happy to discuss your concerns; an appointment can be made to see a member of staff if required.

Progress is carefully monitored and assessments are made throughout the year.  At set intervals throughout the academic year progress will be reported to parents in National Curriculum Levels. You will also be invited to Parents Evenings during the year to discuss your child’s progress.

All homework is uploaded onto Satchel: One Show My Homework. Each week a different department will upload a homework task for your child to complete. For more information please click the following link:

Here at Oasis we have a strict no electronic devices policy. This means that mobile phones, headphones etc are not permitted to be used during the school day. However we understand that some parents may wish for their child to carry a mobile phone for safety reasons but they must be switched off when they enter the school gates and not switched back on until they leave. Any students who are seen using electronic devices will have them confiscated and will receive a detention.
